The branches of this shrub are arched and thorny. It produces new soft, pale pink shoots that turn purple-red in the fall. The variation of the foliage is magnificent. Easy to grow, it adapts to poor, sandy soils and small urban courtyards. Perfect as a low hedge and as a barrier to intruders. It is adorned with small yellow flowers followed by bright red fruits that birds savor. Its growth is slow, you can prune it at any time.
