For colour saturation in your borders or containers, Prima Ruby puts on a fantastic bright, pink-red display from the very first year. Plants are short and sturdy with a clumping habit and form multiple crowns. Flowers are showy and fragrant. Plant in average soil, though coarse and slightly mineral soils are best. Regular deadheading throughout its long bloom period from June through October will ensure more flowering. Excellent as cut flowers. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Use seed heads in dried arrangements or leave in the garden as a treat for birds during the winter.
