The name says it all! This is an Italian heirloom tomato plant from Naples and an excellent candidate for home gardens. Plants are semi-determinate or indeterminate, and tomatoes grow in clusters producing heavy yields of 4-5-inch oblong, red paste tomatoes that are packed with flavour, few seeds and with the firm flesh that make them ideal for sauces and purees. Dense foliage. Start seeds indoors six weeks before the last frost, then transplant out in fertile soil amended with compost. 60-90 days till harvest.
