Think cute, tiny, decorative and edible: presenting the perfect mini white pumpkin! Generally ½-1 lb, they have the classic pumpkin deep, smooth ridges and strong green handles. With a semi-bush plant habit and short vines, they are easy to grow, producing 15-20 fruit per plant, and don’t require a great deal of space. And although they make wonderful fall decorations, they have delicious, sweet white flesh with the texture of an acorn squash. Start early indoors and transplant out after the last frost, or seed directly outside once the soil is warm enough. 2-3 plants per hill, 36-48 inches apart.
