Monsteras are called Swiss Cheese Plants because they seem filled with holes, and Monstera Adonsonii is probably the cheesiest of all! Large, delicate, heart-shaped leaves with oval-shaped holes characterize the Monstera “Swiss Chesse Vine,” a plant that loves to climb when provided with a trellis. Without any support, it makes a great “spiller” in a hanging basket, in a planter or placed on a shelf. It prefers well-draining soil and high humidity. Toxic to pets, so make sure your dogs and cats can’t reach the leaves.
