A purifying ornamental indoor plant that appreciates high humidity, so ideal for the kitchen or bathroom. Native to South American rainforests, it produces white and purple flowers, but it’s the ornamental foliage that grabs all the attention: dark, glossy oval leaves with a magenta-coloured midrib and outline. Undersides are burgundy-mauve. Place outdoors in the summer on a shaded patio.
