Leaves are shamrock-shaped and the colour of dark plums, making an enchanting backdrop for clusters of blush pink, lily-shaped blossoms. Blooms from mid-spring to late summer. Plants make a great addition to shady areas of the garden, but are also effective in window boxes, containers and hanging baskets. Plant in well-drained soil that is evenly moist but not wet. Perennial to zone 9, plants may be transferred indoors when the first frost is imminent. Deadheading not necessary. Drought-tolerant.
